Rachel completed her dietetics training at Frances Stern Nutrition Center at Tufts Medical Center. She is finishing a master’s degree in Nutrition Communications at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, Tufts University in Boston. She is currently the managing editor of The Friedman Sprout, the graduate student nutrition newspaper.
Rachel enjoys clinical dietetics, and she loves talking and teaching about the benefits of wholesome food in a healthful lifestyle. Yet some of her happier moments are spent scribbling on scraps of paper, or typing ideas that she never seems to finish. She doesn’t know where her passion for writing will take her, but she hopes to dabble in freelance and journalism someday.
Other facts of interest include a fetish for bookstores and coffee shops. Her favorite fruit is pineapple. She hails from Davis, California.
